Bellsprout Pokémon GO Community Day: Tips, Tricks & 100% IV

The next Pokémon GO Community Day will feature Bellsprout. This will provide Pokémon GO Trainers a chance to grab a Shiny Bellsprout and get a Victreebel with new move, Magical Leaf.

Bellsprout Community Day takes place Saturday, April 20 from 1400-1700 local time.

This is a really exciting Community Day. Magical Leaf is a good upgrade for Victreebel, which is a good Pokémon in its shadow form in some PvP metas and leagues. So, this is a great chance to meet up with your friends and play some Pokémon GO.

The following bonuses will be in effect for trainers during Bellsprout Community Day in Pokémon GO.

There will also be a $1 Research Ticket, Showcases and special item-bundles in the Pokémon GO Store.

During the event times, Bellsprout will be appearing much more frequently in the wild. You'll also have a increased chance of catching a Shiny Bellsprout.

There will also be a featured move for evolving Bellsprout. Any Weepinbell evolved into Victreebel during Bellsprout Pokémon GO Community Day will learn Magical Leaf, a Grass-type move. If you have any Victreebel already, the only way they can learn this move is through an Elite TM.

The odds of encountering a shiny Bellsprout is about 1 in 25 during this Bellsprout Pokémon GO Community Day.

The following table shows the highest CP a Bellsprout can be at every level. In the wild, Bellsprout can be Level 1 to Level 30, and if it is Sunny or Cloudy weather, Level 6 to Level 35. A Bellsprout at the maximum CP value would be a 100% IV Pokémon.

Bellsprout Community Day will add Magical Leaf as a Fast Attack for Victreebel. This move is a significant upgrade over Razor Leaf for both PvP and Raids.

However, Victreebel isn't the best Pokémon in the Grass-type category. In PvP, only Shadow Victreebel is very relevant. You might have to use an Elite Fast TM to improve any Shadow Victreebel you already have powered up for PvP.

Now, Bellsprout might not be the most exciting Pokémon for a Community Day in GO history, but we do have the best possible Community Day bonus during this event.

3x Stardust is something you simply cannot miss. Add a Star Piece in, and that's 4.5x Stardust. You can rack up hundreds of thousands of Stardust during the three hour event. With Stardust being such a hot commodity, even though Bellsprout might not be a super powerful Pokémon, this is still a very worthwhile event.

We also have extra Candy and Candy XL for catching Pokémon during this event. But, you can boost that up even further by using a Grass or Poison-type Mega Level 3 Mega Pokémon.
