At last! Beldum finally gets a Pokémon GO Community Day Classic.
It's finally here! The next Pokémon GO Community Day Classic will feature Beldum. This will provide Pokémon GO Trainers a second chance to grab a Shiny Beldum, and get a Metagross with exclusive move, Meteor Mash.
Beldum Community Day Classic takes place Sunday, June 18 from 1400-1700 local time.
Choosing Beldum for the next Pokémon GO Community Day Classic is a very popular choice. Trainers have been begging for a Beldum Community Day Classic, and Niantic have finally delivered. Mega Metagross is yet to release into the game, could this be the first step towards getting our hands on that powerful Mega Pokémon?
As well as Beldum, we're getting some decent bonuses too. So, this is a great chance to meet up with your friends and play some Pokémon GO.
Beldum Pokémon GO Community Day Classic bonuses
The following bonuses will be in effect for trainers during Beldum Community Day Classic in Pokémon GO.
- 1/4 Hatch Distance when Eggs are placed into Incubators during the event.
- Incense (excluding Daily Adventure Incense) activated during the event will last for 3 hours
- Lure Modules activated during the event will last for 3 hours
- Be on the lookout for Showcases at different PokéStops during Beldum Community Day Classic
- Take a few Snapshots during Community Day for a surprise!
There will also be a $1 Research Ticket, Showcases and special item-bundles in the Pokémon GO Store.
Featured Pokémon: Beldum
During the event times, Beldum will be appearing much more frequently in the wild. You'll also have a increased chance of catching a Shiny Beldum.
There will also be a featured move for evolving Beldum. Any Metang evolved into Metagross during Beldum Pokémon GO Community Day Classic will learn Meteor Mash, a Steel-type move. If you have any Metagross already without this move, the only way they can learn this move is through an Elite TM.

Metagross Best Pokémon GO Moveset
Beldum Community Day Classic will allow Trainers a second chance to get Meteor Mash as a Charged Attack for Metagross. Meteor Mash is one of the most powerful Steel-type moves in Pokémon GO and is a great move to have on Metagross.
Metagross is a great Steel-type attacker in Pokémon GO, and with that Mega form coming down the line, now is a great chance to get a few strong Metagross ready to go when that Mega releases.
The best moveset for Metagross is:
- Bullet Punch
- Meteor Mash
- Psychic
Beldum Community Day Classic: Pokémon GO Tips and Tricks
Beldum Pokémon GO Community Day sadly does not have any XP or Stardust bonuses. However, Beldum is a much desired Pokémon, making this Community Day Classic still worthwhile. If you do want some extra Stardust, using a Star Piece and hatching 10 or 12 km Eggs with the 1/4 Egg Hatch Distance can be profitable.
In addition, sadly we also don't have any Candy bonuses for catching Pokémon during this event. Don't fret, you can still get extra Candy, Candy XL and XP by using a Steel or Psychic-type Mega Level 3 Mega Pokémon.

Don't forget some other easy tips:
- Don't catch Pokémon before the event starts. These Pokémon can turn into Beldum.
- Spin as many Pokéstops as possible, to get event specific Field Research as well as extra resources.
- Don't activate Lures' or Incense till the event starts to get the extra time.
