Pokémon TCG Pocket announces brand new pack: Mythical Island (Release date and more)

After waiting more than a month, Pokémon TCG Pocket has officially announced its newest pack: Mythical Island. The popular mobile game was posted on Twitter earlier today with a small trailer showcasing the upcoming card pack.

Here is everything we know about the Mythical Island card pack in Pokémon TCG Pocket, including featured cards and a release date.

Earlier this month, Pokémon TCG Pocket made an announcement ensuring fans that new packs would be released before the end of 2024.

Well, it looks as if the game is keeping its word. Its newest pack, Mythical Island, is set to release on December 17, 2024.

But what Pokémon are set to be featured in this new pack?

While we do not have an exact list of all the Pokémon cards in the new Mythical Island pack, we know that the featured card will be a Mew EX. I mean, the front of the card IS a Mew, so that one was quite easy to figure out.

However, in the game's new trailer, they showed more than just Mew, but also an Aerodactly EX. While the game has a regular version of the famous fossil evolution card, they have yet to add an EX version.

Already, with Aerodactyl's impressive ability, which prevents opponents from evolving their Active Pokémon, many are already strategizing a deck revolving around the dinosaur card.

However, Mew EX also is looking to be quite the card to revolve a deck around, as it can easily be added to a Mewtwo EX deck.
