Sigma fans, this one’s for you!
Nerdcore rapper Azazus recently dropped a brand-new Overwatch 2 anthem. This Overwatch 2 Sigma rap is called "The Universe Speaks," and what makes it extra special is that Boris Hiestand, Sigma's voice actor, worked on it as well.
Azazus drops Overwatch 2 Sigma rap
The Universe Speaks by Azazus is a collaboration involving Sigma's voice actor and producer Origami. The Sigma rap kicks off with Azazus' clever lyrics that go into Sigma's story and lore in Overwatch 2. After an experiment gone wrong, the astrophysicist gained the ability to control gravity. However, this also splintered his mind and made him susceptible to Talon's machinations.
Azazus' rap then references Sigma's kit with lyrics like "You'll find yourself between a rock and a hard place" and "I don't really give a flux." In Overwatch 2, Sigma's Accretion ability throws rocks at his foes to knock them down.
His ultimate, meanwhile, is Gravatic Flux, which lifts enemies into the air before slamming them down. When Sigma uses his ultimate, he also shouts, "Het universum zingt voor mij!" Sigma himself and his enemies can hear this while his teammates hear "What is that melody?"

Sigma's voice actor in The Universe Speaks by Azazus
The bridge of The Universe Speaks is haunting and beautiful with the piano and violin in the background. The lyrics for it reference how Sigma, with just a simple gesture of his hands, can use his Hyperspheres to deal damage. Azazus' choice of the tank hero's Stepping Stones emote also fits perfectly here because when equipped and selected, Sigma hums a mysterious melody.
Azazus then pays tribute to the "I don't think you understand the gravity of this situation" voice line while showcasing Hiestand's new additions such as "The more I listen, the more I feel alive" and "What a fascinating experiment."
The Universe Speaks is another love letter to Overwatch 2, and that shows through all of the Sigma references within the lyrics and video itself. Previously, Azazus created the "Hack the World" masterpiece for Sombra.
