We Spit Fire, also previously known as London Spitfire, was an esports team in the Overwatch League. However, the circuit concluded after team Florida Mayhem's victory in the Overwatch League Grand Finals 2023 event. When 2024 came about, Blizzard and ESL FACEIT Group (EFG) announced the Overwatch Champions Series (OWCS) as the Overwatch League's successor.

Now under the Spacestation Gaming flag, these former We Spit Fire players have reunited! The announcement was made on the esports organization's social media account. Using emojis, the post also listed each player's role.

While Hadi is Spacestation Gaming's tank, Backbone and SparkR represent the DPS players. Meanwhile, Landon and FunnyAstro are the support players. ChrisTFer himself is also reprising his role as the team's coach.

"Really excited to work with these boys and this org," Landon wrote on X. "Planning on going hard this year."

As the OWCS hype continues, fans can likely expect more roster reveals and esports announcements. For example, recently, Matilda Smedius became a co-owner of European team Ex Oblivione. Smedius is voice actor of Brigitte Lindholm, who is a playable support hero in Overwatch 2. Meanwhile, Toronto Defiant also boasts a strong roster for the OWCS.
