The Overwatch Champions Series (OWCS) Dallas Major will happen between May 31 and June 2. Ahead of this tournament, Overwatch 2 revealed that Azure Flame Hanzo skin will be part of a crowdfunding campaign. Read on for details!

OWCS Dallas Major gets Azure Flame Hanzo skin

According to a past OWCS broadcast, the Azure Flame Hanzo skin will be part of an upcoming crowdfunding bundle for the OWCS Dallas Major prize pool. This skin will also be a legendary one in terms of rarity.

"We will be bolstering, of course, the prize pool with a crowdfunding effort and that, of course, always includes some very, very cool things," Soe Gschwind said in the broadcast, asking fans to take a look at the skin.

Overwatch 2 Azure Flame Hanzo skin details

Gschwind and the other casters then talked about Azure Flame Hanzo's appearance, noting that he has an anime-like hair style and his color scheme is reminiscent of Overwatch League team Dallas Fuel.

"This is one of the things that you can expect," Gschwind continued. "Of course, we don't know how or when all of the crowdfunding will start and happen." After asking viewers to follow the OW_Esports account on X, she emphasized that the Overwatch 2 Dallas Major will be the first OWCS LAN event.

OWCS Dallas Major schedule and teams

The OWCS Dallas Major 2024 will feature eight Overwatch 2 teams in total. Between May 31 and June 2, players from Toronto Defiant, M80, Students of the Game, Spacestation Gaming, ENCE, Twisted Minds, Crazy Raccoon, and Team Falcons will duke it out under a double-elimination bracket. At stake will be spots in Esports World Cup 2024.
