The Overwatch World Cup 2023 Online Qualifiers will be happening soon! Since Denmark, Finland, Iceland, and Portugal qualified for it via the Wild Card Challenge, the matches will go from June 22 through July 2. Overwatch World Cup 2023 Online Qualifiers schedule
The matches for this phase of the overall 2023 event will kick off on June 22 and run through July 2. At stake will be the 16 spots in the Overwatch World Cup Group Stage slated for the fall. After the Group Stage, the Overwatch World Cup Finals will involve a single-elimination bracket that will determine the 2023 champion.
- APAC = Matches begin at 10 p.m. PT
- EMEC = Matches begin at 6 p.m. PT
- AMER = Matches begin at 2 p.m PT
Where to watch and what to expect
To catch all of the Overwatch 2 esports action, fans and supporters can visit the game's official Twitch and YouTube channels. The Overwatch Contenders channels also count. There's the option to join watch parties using the "Overwatch World Cup 2023 Watch Party" title and "#OWWCstreamteam" hashtag.
Drops are also enabled for the official channels and watch parties. This means you can earn some progress toward in-game items! These include a spray, player icon, and a bunch of hero skins.

"From June 18–July 2, watch and earn World Cup celebratory cosmetics when watching on Twitch," Blizzard stated.
Overwatch 2 gets crowdfunded prize pool
The Overwatch World Cup prize pool will be crowdfunded through skins and other in-game cosmetics, according to Blizzard. Additionally, 25% of Overwatch World Cup cosmetics and bundles will contribute to this.
"For the first time in Overwatch history, we will be crowdfunding the World Cup prize pool with an exciting slate of skins and other in-game cosmetics over the coming months. 25% of all Overwatch World Cup cosmetics and bundles will contribute to the Overwatch World Cup prize pool. There will be no contribution cap, so prizing will continue to grow until crowdfunding ends on the last day of the Overwatch World Cup Finals."
A part of the prize pool will be allocated to the participating teams as well. Below is the breakdown of this.

Additionally, there will be milestone rewards such as player icons and sprays for all Overwatch 2 players. These items will be revealed later this year.
