Here are the Overwatch Season 1 Competitive Drive rewards and how to unlock them.
The next season of Blizzard Entertainment’s hero shooter kicks off on April 14. This means if you haven’t already duked it out in Overwatch’s ranked mode for the Season 1 rewards, then you still have a bit of time left. Read on for everything to know about the Overwatch Season 1 Competitive Drives, including what’s at stake, how it works, and when you can get your rewards in Season 2.
Overwatch Competitive Drives explained
In Overwatch, Competitive Drives are limited-time events that happen near the end of a season. You enter the game’s ranked mode to raise your Drive Score as high as possible. The higher the Drive Score, the better the Drive Signature looks. A higher Drive Score also means more Competitive Points. Then, at the end of the season and the start of a new one, you can show off their shiny new Drive Signature while duking it out against others.

Overwatch Competitive Drives Season 1 rewards
- 500 Drive Score: 500 Competitive Points
- 1,000 Drive Score: Drive Signature
- 1,600 Drive Score: 1,000 Competitive Points
- 2,200 Drive Score: Advanced Drive Signature
- 3,000 Drive Score: 1,500 Competitive Points
- 4,000 Drive Score: Elite Drive Signature
As indicated above, unlocking a certain Drive Signature requires reaching certain Drive Score checkpoints. After completing all of the checkpoints once and then a seventh time, you get an Insignia. These Insignias are fancier in appearance.

Overwatch Season 1’s reward is a Drive Signature that’s red and orange in color. It’s reminiscent of Emre when he’s activating his ultimate.
