Overwatch Jetpack Cat counters

Jetpack Cat is one the newest heroes to join the Overwatch roster. While this hero can cause hilarious chaos in matches, there can be some frustrations while duking it out against her. Here are some Jetpack Cat counters in Overwatch. We also go into Jetpack Cat's abilities and perks.

Hitscan heroes such as Soldier: 76, Cassidy, and Ashe are viable counters to Jetpack Cat. In Overwatch, "hitscan" means your shots hit exactly where you aim instantly. This is unlike projectile weapons like Hanzo's arrows that take time to travel. Jetpack Cat is always in the air, so remember to look up just as you would when countering heroes like Pharah or Echo.

Another Jetpack Cat counter is Sombra. Hack can interrupt Jetpack Cat's Catnapper ultimate setups, her Lifeline tether ability, and her momentum gained from Frenetic Flight. Sombra's Translocator, meanwhile, can teleport her to the high ground and reach Jetpack Cat more easily. Sombra's EMP ultimate is also a great disruptor.

If you're playing a support hero, then you can scope in as Ana for some damage. Baptiste and Illari also have hitscan weapons. As for Juno, she can duke it out in the air and use her Pulsar Torpedoes to lock in on Jetpack Cat via homing projectiles.

Jetpack Cat can feel oppressive at first, but players can go against her once they recognize her weaknesses. This may take some time, as she only arrived on Feb. 10. Another way to counter Jetpack Cat is to play as her yourself. By doing this, you can get a better understanding of how her kit works and predict her combos and movements.
