After a teaser in the from the "Upper Hand" short story, Blizzard Entertainment has confirmed Domina for Overwatch! Read on for the Overwatch Domina release date and release time. We also go over Domina's abilities and who she is in the Overwatch universe.
Overwatch Domina Release Date and Time Countdown
Overwatch Domina release date
Domina enters Overwatch as a new tank hero on Feb. 10. She arrives alongside Mizuki, Emre, Anran, and Fika the Jetpack Cat. These five heroes make up half of the 10 Overwatch hero releases planned for the year. The additional heroes are scheduled to arrive across Seasons 2 through 6.
Note that Feb. 10 is the start of 2026's Overwatch Season 1 as well. It's called Season 1 now because Blizzard Entertainment dropped the "2" from the "Overwatch 2" title.
Overwatch Domina release time
Based on esports.gg's experience with game updates, Domina's release time is also likely Feb. 10 at 11 a.m. PT. This is the same as 2 p.m. ET and 1 p.m. CT. Our table below has more time zones and equivalent release dates and release times as well.

Domina's primary fire is Photon Magnum while her abilities are Barrier Array, Sonic Repulsors, and Crystal Charge. Her passive is Reconstruction and she has the Stalwart subrole. As for her ultimate, it's Panopticon.

Who is Domina in Overwatch?
In Overwatch, Domina is the latest vice president of operations and development at Vishkar Corporation. A recent story and lore reveal has Domina agreeing to a deal with Vendetta. This agreement came after Vendetta brought up the corporation's questionable construction practices in Suravasa, an uprising in Rio, and Vishkar's connection to Talon.
"Your company is one failure away from a formal investigation. But a public connection to Talon? Oh. That would ruin you," Vendetta said. Vendetta also noted interest in Vishakar's shielding technology.
"Vishakar's shielding technology would be effective in the Colosseo, but I believe it could have broader applications," Vendetta said.
