The Overwatch 2 World of Warcraft (WoW) event is now live, which means a bunch of challenges plus in-game freebies. Read on for our guide on all of the Overwatch 2 WoW challenges and rewards!
Overwatch 2 World of Warcraft event
This Overwatch 2 event celebrates 20 year of WoW. It features a bunch of iconic WoW characters such as Sylvanas, Thrall, Magni, and the Lich King. While Sylvanas is presented by Widowmaker in Overwatch 2, Thrall is shown through Zenyatta. Meanwhile, Magi is Torbjorn and the Lich King is Reinhardt.

Overwatch 2 World of Warcraft challenges and rewards
Here are all of the Overwatch 2 WoW event challenges and rewards. There are 10 challenges in total, and some notable items include the Horde Champion and Alliance Champion player titles, Stormwind and Orgrimmar name cards, Job's Done spray, plus an adorable Pepe player icon.
- Ding!: Complete 7 World of Warcraft challenges.
- Reward: Quest Complete weapon charm, 2,500 Battle Pass XP
- By Fire Be Purged: Complete 30 games queued as damage or all roles. Wins grant double the progress.
- Reward: Darkmoon Faire player icon, 2,500 Battle Pass XP
- Burning Crusader: Complete 20 games. Wins grant double the progress.
- Reward: Work, Work spray, 2,500 Battle Pass XP
- Cataclysmic Sunderer: Complete 60 games. Wins grant double the progress.

- Keep Aggro: Complete 30 games queued as Tank or All Roles. Wins grant double the progress.
- Reward: Quest Complete souvenir, 2,500 Battle Pass XP
- Light Protect You: Complete 30 games queued as Support or All Roles. Wins grant double the progress.
- Reward: Pepe player icon, 2,500 Battle Pass XP
- Lich King: Complete 40 games. Wins grant double the progress.
- Reward: Job's Done spray, 2,500 Battle Pass XP
- Mistwalker: Complete 80 games. Wins grant double the progress.

- Legionnaire: Complete 140 games. Wins grant double the progress.

Overwatch 2 WoW event schedule
This Overwatch 2 WoW event runs from Sept. 17 to Oct. 1, giving players plenty of time to complete the aforementioned challenges. Of course, there's lots of Overwatch 2 Season 12 Battle Pass XP up for grabs as well. Therefore, if you haven't completed the Battle Pass yet, then it's a great time to easily gain more tiers.
