Overwatch 2 Winter Wonderland 2025: Tracer, Torbjorn, or Junkrat?

Overwatch 2 Season 20 not only features a brand-new Battle Pass, major ranked changes, Stadium updates, plus the arrival of Vendetta, but also a cool twist on the yearly Winter Wonderland event. Here's everything you need to know about Overwatch 2 Winter Wonderland 2025.

The Overwatch 2 Winter Wonderland 2025 event runs from Dec. 9 to Jan. 6 of next year. Once you select the event from Overwatch 2's main menu, you must choose among Tracer, Junkrat, or Torbjorn. Each hero grants different rewards.

Tracer's Jingle Workshop rewards you with 10 Battle Pass tier skips in total. Junkrat's Krampus' Basket, meanwhile, grants you 36 regular loot boxes and four legendary loot boxes. As for Torbjorn's Santa's Sleigh, choose this if you would like to add the Frozen Junkrat and Frozen Cassidy skins to your collection. Torbjorn also grants you three player icons and five sprays.

It's worth noting that whichever hero you select, all of the event challenges are the same. You're also not locked in with the first hero you click on, but you must collect the prizes in order. For example, if you choose the Torbjorn path, you must unlock Tier 1 of his prizes first. This means you get the Snowreaper player icon first before the other items. Basically, it's a rewards track.

To redeem the rewards you want, simply click on the right hero and complete challenges to get Winter Wonderland Cookies. Then, exchange the Winter Wonderland Cookies for rewards.

Here are all of the event challenges as well. In short, they just require you to play some limited-time game modes such as Mischief & Magic and winter brawls such as Freezethaw Elimination, Snowball Deathmatch, Yeti Hunter, and Mei's Snowball Offensive.
