Overwatch 2 Season 14 is now live, and with it arrives this year's Winter Wonderland event! Read on for all of the Overwatch 2 Winter Wonderland 2024 challenges and rewards — with one of them being a free Hanzo skin!
Overwatch 2 Winter Wonderland 2024 event
This year, the Winter Wonderland event in Overwatch runs between Dec. 10 and Jan. 7. This event involves returning game modes such as Yeti Hunter, Mei's Snowball Offensive, Snowball Deathmatch, and Freezethaw Elimination. Completing matches in these game modes results in challenge progress.
Overwatch 2 Winter Wonderland 2024 challenges and rewards
Speaking of challenges, the Overwatch 2 Winter Wonderland 2024 event features seven of them in total. Rewards include lots of Battle Pass XP, sprays, name cards, plus the free Casual Hanzo skin. How to unlock the free Overwatch 2 Casual Hanzo skin
If you don't have this legendary Hanzo skin already, then you can obtain it free by completing a total of eight matches. These matches don't have to be the Winter Wonderland game modes, either. Simply enter a player-versus-player (PvP) Overwatch 2 game mode to begin gaining some progress! Achieving victory means you can earn this skin faster.
Before you jump into the fray, it's also a good idea to consider the Overwatch 2 Season 14 Premium Battle Pass as well. This is because it gives you an XP boost that lets you earn rewards faster.
Items to note this season include the Celestial Mei skin, Cyber Scientist Moira, and Odin Sigma. Of course, the paid version of the Battle Pass lets you earn a total of 80 Mythic Prisms for the mythic Thor Reinhardt skin.
