Overwatch 2 voice actor becomes Ex Oblivione co-owner

Matilda Smedius is now a co-owner of Ex Oblivione. Smedius herself is also the voice actor of Brigitte Lindholm from Overwatch 2! Here are the details.

Matilda Smedius becomes Ex Oblivione co-owner

Ex Oblivione is a European Overwatch 2 team that's playing in the Overwatch Championship Series (OWCS) by ESL FACEIT Group (EFG). According to the announcement, the team is restructuring to onboard talent such as Smedius. This would help establish Ex Oblivione as an organization.

Smedius is joined by Ex Oblivione's other owners, who are Kevin Hondijk and Vidyuth Manu. While Hondijk is founder and managing director of the organization, Manu is the director of operations.

The announcement noted that Smedius shares the team's values and vision. It also detailed some of Ex Oblivione's goals, including making Ex Oblivione a player-first esports organization, working with brands that align with eco-conscious and community-centric values, plus creating a gold standard for esports teams.
