Overwatch 2 Underworld Invasion Mystery Swap walkthrough

A new Underworld PvE modifier has arrived in Overwatch 2. Taking place under King's Row, this mission requires players to defeat waves of Null Sector's forces and save the city. Read on for our Overwatch 2 Underworld Invasion Mystery Swap walkthrough and guide.

In the Invasion Mystery Swap iteration of Overwatch 2 Underworld, you swap to random heroes between objectives. For example, if you start out as Tracer, then you can get a different hero and role later on. Your team will always have two damage heroes, one tank, and one healer.

To get started on this mission, select "Underworld" from the main menu, press the "Modes" button, and click on Winston's computer screen. Choose your preferred difficulty and assemble your squad!

In this game mode, your mission is to fight wave after wave of Null Sector's forces while collecting batteries, turning them in, escorting the TS-1 unit to its destination, and capturing a point. To kick things off, head out of King's Row tunnel and fight your way to the TS-1 unit.

Next, collect batteries while fighting off Null Sector. Take note that heavy batteries hinder your movement speed. Turn these batteries in by getting close to the TS-1 unit and holding "F" on your keyboard. If a warbot has a battery, then it's up to you and your team to defeat it so the battery drops down. You can strategize carefully so that a teammate doesn't go in alone.

Remember to protect the TS-1 unit from Slicers as well. You may also encounter flying warbots that prevent your hero from using their abilities. Get out of their hacked area to deal damage as normal.

Watch out for the Stalker units, too. If one of them pulls a teammate in all the way, then they're eliminated. You can revive teammates after waiting for a countdown and holding "F" near them. Make sure they're at a safe location to prevent a team wipe.

After completing the three phases of defending and repairing the TS-1 unit, escort it to its destination while fighting through more Null Sector waves. Then, head to the terminal nearby and hold "F" to activate it.

This initiates your next objective, which is to control the point. At least one teammate must stay inside of it to gain progress. Once 100% progress is reached, get ready to fight Null Sector's version of Ana and Orisa.

Once your team defeats Orisa, she drops a key. Pick it up by pressing "F" and use it on the terminal. This completes the Underworld Invasion Mystery Swap mission!
