Overwatch 2 Stadium patch nerfs Zarya, buffs Moira, and more (May 8)

Blizzard Entertainment just revealed the latest Overwatch 2 Stadium patch notes. This particular hotfix affects D.Va, Junker Queen, Reinhardt, Zarya, Ashe, Lucio, and Moira.

The latest hotfix includes nerfs to Zarya and Reinhardt. According to the developers, Zarya has been overperforming in the higher ranks. Therefore, she has nerfs to her Weapon Power build. Meanwhile, since Reinhardt has also been overperforming in the lower ranks, he gets nerfs to his Impact Burst and Smashing Stadium Powers. These updates target his popular melee and Fire Strike builds.

Meanwhile, D.Va gets a bunch of buffs. Since this tank hero has been struggling against Zarya's beams, for example, the developers are buffing Defense Matrix Powers and Items to help her out. As for Junker Queen, she has adjustments in terms of two Stadium Items to nerf her aggressive dives and gap-closing potential.

Next, only one damage hero gets an update in the May 8 Stadium patch. Ashe's mini B.O.B. that's been terrorizing your matches is nerfed in terms of attack speed. Meanwhile, Ashe's Head Honcho Stadium Power now has decreased damage. The epic Infrared Lenses Item also gets a damage nerf.

As for Moira, she has some buffs to her less popular Powers. These include Precarious Potency and Destruction's Divide. Meanwhile, Lucio has been overperforming when it comes to healing. Therefore, he's getting an overall nerf in that department. Our favorite DJ support hero is, however, getting buffs to his Sonic Boom and Fast Forward Stadium Powers.

In addition to all of the above updates, the game mode has some a couple of general Stadium Item adjustments as well. These pertain to Booster Jets and Nebula Conduit nerfs.
