Ramattra's ultimate and competitive changes
First made available in Season 2, Ramattra is a tempo tank who switches between his Omnic and Nemesis forms. In a Season 2 retrospective, Blizzard noted that his Annihilation ultimate can lead to unwanted gameplay scenarios.
"We want Ramattra to feel imposing and intimidating but not feel hopeless to fight against," according to the announcement.
So in Overwatch 2 Season 3, the timer on Ramattra's Annihilate will be changed up. It will tick down slower if foes are in it and add a cap of 20 seconds.
There will also be matchmaking improvements and competitive updates.

Reward system and new skins
In addition to the new mythic Amaterasu Kiriko skin that's arriving on Feb. 7, the new season will update its reward system.
"We are working to offer rewards that are new for all players more consistently," Blizzard stated, noting that veterans of the Winter Wonderland and Lunar New Year modes weren't super excited about the event skins.
"In Season 3, one of our new events will offer players an all-new legendary skin," Blizzard continued. "And starting in Season 4, our goal is to offer new items as rewards for most of our big events."

Overwatch credits return in Season 3
Previously known as legacy credits, Overwatch credits will return in the new season. Players can earn up to 1,500 credits for free plus another 500 credits via premium rewards in the seasonal battle pass.
If you wish to get specific epic and legendary skins, then you can buy almost all of them via the hero gallery in the new season. The price of legendary skins will also be 1,500 coins or credits. These skins will include ones from seasonal events.
