Overwatch 2 Season 20 patch notes: DPS heroes
As for the damage heroes, they go to Bastion, Freja, Junkrat, Reaper, and Vendetta. Freja, gets some major tuning in terms of damage and crowd control. Vendetta, meanwhile, is the newest hero to join the Overwatch 2 roster, and she gets a bunch of buffs for her debut season. According to the developers, Vendetta performed well in her hero trial. However, she lost effectiveness at higher ranks.
To address this, her abilities now feel more responsive and flow better. This means reduced recovery times and improvements to projectile speed and duration. Soaring Slice's maximum throw distance is also reduced to keep her engagement range in check while also making the ability faster and snappier. As for her ultimate, Sundering Blade's base damage is increased to make earlier charge levels more useful. Vendetta's survivability perks are slightly buffed as well.
