Overwatch 2 Season 20 mid-season patch notes
This patch includes major nerfs to Vendetta. It also has nerfs to D.Va, Lucio, and more. However, there are buffs to Roadhog, Genji, and all of the majority of the affected support heroes, including Illari, Moira, and Zenyatta.

Overwatch 2 Season 20 mid-season patch: Tanks
In terms of the tank heroes, Doomfist, D.Va, and Roadhog received updates. Doomfist's empowered Rocket Punch now deteriorates after 20 seconds instead of being held indefinitely. His Power Matrix perk also now scales its projectile absorption area to better match the size of his model. D.Va, meanwhile, has a nerf to her Extended Boosters perk because the aggressive use of her Boosters for led to too much damage for a minor perk. As for Roadhog, his ultimate now deals more damage per pellet.

Overwatch 2 patch notes today: DPS heroes
As for the damage heroes, updates pertain to Ashe, Bastion, Freja, Genji, Symmetra, Vendetta, and Venture. Notably, the newest hero in Overwatch 2, Vendetta, has multiple nerfs. According to the developers, these nerfs reduce Vendetta's key breakpoints and change up the combinations needed to secure eliminations.

Overwatch patch notes January 8: Support buffs and nerfs
Finally, the support balance changes go to Illari, Lucio, Moira, and Zenyatta. While damage buffs go to Illari, Lucio's Soundwave increased a bit. Moira, meanwhile, now has a reduced ultimate cost. As for our favorite omnic support hero, his damage amplification from Discord Orb is now 30% instead of 25%.
