Blizzard Entertainment just dropped a preview of what players can expect in Overwatch 2 Season 19. The Stadium game mode, in particular, is getting Gadgets, the Busan control map, the All-Star Cassidy skin, and three more heroes.
What are Stadium Gadgets in Overwatch 2?
Gadgets are active items in Overwatch 2's Stadium game mode. Players can choose one Stadium Gadget per game, and it can be unleashed with a customizable hotkey. Examples of Stadium Gadgets include Colossus Core, Kitsune Charm, and Jet Skates.
According to Blizzard Entertainment's announcement, while Colossus Core helps in terms of pushing through the frontline, Kitsune Charm takes away negative effects. As for Jet Skates, it lets players escape death. Stadium Gadgets are also available in the common, rare, and epic rarities.
Overwatch 2 Stadium Gadgets explained
In a video, Overwatch 2 senior systems designer Scott Hwang went over Stadium Gadgets in more detail. He revealed that his favorite Gadget is Colossus Core on Reinhardt. When activated, Colossus Core lets the tank hero charge in, grow even bigger, and gain health and damage reduction for three seconds.
"There are 13 new Gadgets to match your playstyle," Hwang added.

New Overwatch 2 Stadium heroes enter Season 19
As for the three heroes entering Overwatch 2 Stadium in Season 19, they are Torbjorn, Hazard, and Sojourn. Hwang revealed that in Stadium, Torbjorn can get triple his turrets, a level 3 turret, and even triple level 3 turrets. He can also run around while swinging his hammer.
Meanwhile, Sojourn can auto-aim her primary fire during Overclock plus slide and drop multiple Disruptor Shots. As for Hazard, this tank hero can fire his spikes during Spike Guard and shoot a long-range projectile.

Overwatch 2 Stadium gets major Ana rework
As for the support players, Season 19 of Stadium features an Ana rework. She's getting four new Stadium Powers, and the ones being replaced are turning into Stadium Items.
"Ana can shoot her Sleep Dart through her rifle, which gains increased projectile speed, and then Sleep Dart can spawn a Biotic Grenade on impact," Hwang said. "And then, the Biotic Grenade can give Nano Boost to your allies. Lastly, Ana can give an ally increased attack speed and ultimate charge at the cost of her own ultimate charge."
