Overwatch 2 map voting explained
Map voting arrives in Overwatch 2 Season 17 on June 24. The feature launches in the Quick Play and Competitive game modes. After you enter role queue, you get three random maps from which to choose. Then, you must vote for the map you wish to duke it out on.
"Every vote adds a 1-in-10 chance to that map's odds," according to Blizzard Entertainment. "And the winner is selected using a [roulette-style] roll."
The Overwatch 2 map voting system hides team chat, everyone's battle tags, and individual votes as well. Another important thing to note is that the leaver penalty kick off at the start of map voting.
