In every new season of Overwatch 2, fans eagerly await the news of what new mythic skin will be included in the seasonal Battle Pass and Mythic Shop. For Overwatch 2 Season 12, Anubis Reaper is the latest mythic that players will be working towards throughout the season. Overwatch Season 12 details are finally here, including the season's new mythic skin Anubis Reaper. The skin can be seen in full in the Season 12 trailer, alongside all of the new cosmetics and exciting updates coming in the new season. You will be able to get your hands on the new skin when Season 12 is officially underway on Aug. 20.
As this image and the trailer demonstrate, this new Overwatch 2 Anubis Reaper mythic skin will have multiple different upgrades and colorways like most mythics in the game do. However, this one also correlates with the return of an old map, Temple of Anubis, which has been reformatted to fit into the game's new mode called Clash. Its new iteration is called Throne of Anubis. In some ways, this skin feels like a small reward for longtime players who will remember the days of 2 CP.
Outside of the new skin and new Clash maps, there's so much more for fans to get excited about for Season 12, including a WoW collaboration with Frostmourne, exciting news for Game Pass players, and Juno's arrival in the game.
