Like previous seasons, the game will have a Battle Pass that players can purchase with various cosmetics, skins and more. However as always, the star of the show are the premium Battle Pass skins. Every skin in the Overwatch 2 Season 12 Battle Pass
The theme for Season 12 of Overwatch 2 is "New Frontiers". Although the term is closer related to space and otherworldly aesthetics, the skins of Overwatch Season 12 Battle Pass are more grounded to Earth. These featured Battle Pass skins for Season 12 of Overwatch 2 are as follows:
- Captain Sigma
- Oni Ana
- Dorothy Ashe
- Bast Doomfist
- Thoth Illari
Despite the variety of skin themes shown in the previews, the main theme of the Season 12 Battle Pass for Overwatch 2 is the Egyptian Pantheon. This is reflected both in the new and gorgeous looking Doomfist and Illari skins that are named after Egyptian gods.
Not to mention the iconic new Mythic skin for Season 12 of Overwatch 2, Anubis Reaper. This skin as all other Mythic skins, will have multiple styles and color options available for the total cost of 80 Mythic Prisms.
Unfortunately, there aren't any new Venture skins despite her release last season. Not to mention that her archaeological background would suit the New Frontiers and Egyptian themed skins of Season 12 of Overwatch 2. The Monarch Venture skin just isn't cutting it for the Overwatch 2 community, but hopefully with one of the many planned events for the season, Venture will get her time to shine.
