Overwatch 2 Season 11 brings forth Bound Demon mythic weapon for Reinhardt

The new Overwatch 2 Super Mega Ultrawatch season features tons of rewards for players to earn. The penultimate rewards of the season, of course, are the mythic skins. And with the new Mythic Shop introduced last season, players can choose their rewards. Season 11 of Overwatch 2 introduces two new mythic rewards. First is the mythic Calamity Empress Ashe skin. The other is the Bound Demon mythic weapon for Reinhardt.

The Season 11 trailer for Overwatch 2 features tons of content coming to the game. A reward that stands out to the crowd is the Bound Demon mythic weapon for Reinhardt. The weapon is the first of its kind, with its very own in game audio and visual effects.

The mythic weapons as a whole are a new addition to Overwatch 2. In Blizzard's words, "Like our Heroic Weapon Skins, you’ll be able to equip a Mythic Weapon Skin with any Hero Skin (for the matching hero) and will come with exclusive sound and visual effects."

Like other mythic items, the Bound Demon weapon for Reinhardt is unlocked through the Mythic Shop! Thankfully, the mythic weapon is not as expensive as a full mythic skin in the shop, which typically requires around 80 Mythic Prisms. However, it still fetches a hefty price of 50 Mythic Prisms, which is the equivalent of a base mythic skin at level 1.

However, with the Season 11 Battle Pass, players can earn more than enough Mythic Prisms by completing and progressing through the tiers. Alternatively, players can purchase Mythic Prisms directly for either $9.99 for 10 Prisms or $39.99 for 50 Prisms. So players who complete the paid Battle Pass for the season can acquire the Bound Demon weapon skin for Reinhardt without purchasing extra Mythic Prisms.

According to Blizzard, this mythic weapon skin is scheduled for the mid-season update on July 23.
