Here’s the latest on Wuyang’s hero trial and his story in Overwatch 2.
Previously known under the codename "Aqua," Wuyang will be Overwatch 2's next support hero. He will also get a limited-time hero trial fairly soon. Ahead of this trial, Blizzard Entertainment revealed some new lore about him as well.

Overwatch 2 Wuyang trial release date
On July 22, Blizzard Entertainment announced that the Wuyang hero trial will kick off on Aug. 14 and run through Aug. 18. Based on our experience, this trial will very likely run until Aug. 19 at 11 a.m. PT since Overwatch 2 typically updates on Tuesdays at that time.
Players will get to test the waters in terms of Wuyang's graceful mobility, hybrid damage utility, fluid healing, and disruption.
"Expect a learning curve with some serious splash potential," Blizzard Entertainment added.
