How Overwatch 2 Prop Hunt works

This Mischief and Magic game mode splits players into two teams of five. Players get to start as either Rogue Kiriko or Knight Genji. This switches every round. While Kiriko's job is to hide around the Blizzard World map, Genji players must eliminate enemy Kiriko players before the time is up.

If you happen to be Kiriko, then you get 30 seconds before a round begins. Use this time to transform into an object, move to different locations, and blend in with your surroundings. If you're Genji, then explore the map and use your abilities to take down hidden Kiriko players.

How to win in Overwatch 2 Prop Hunt

To win a match in Mischief and Magic Prop Hunt, earn a total of three points. If you're Kiriko, you can blend in and change your disguise as you see fit after a short cooldown. She can also stun enemies to buy herself more time.

As Genji, listen closely for Kiriko's voice because she taunts him more frequently near the end of each round. Kiriko's voice lines give away her position. Don't forget to use Dragonblade to earn some progress for the Mischief and Magic event challenges!

Winning a match in this game mode means double the progress for the event challenges as well. The rewards include up to 50,000 Season 5 Battle Pass XP, an epic Ana skin, voice lines, a weapon charm, plus some appropriately-themed player icons.
