Japan welcomes Overwatch 2 pop-up shop

Japanese company AMNIBUS recently announced the arrival of three Overwatch 2 pop-up shops. The first one opens in July while the final one opens up in September and runs through early October.

To hype up these shops, the official announcement also featured a brand-new promotional poster. The poster includes a lineup of Overwatch 2 heroes such as Reinhardt and D.Va as the tanks. Meanwhile, Genji, Reaper, Sombra, and Ashe get the spotlight as the chosen DPS characters. As for the support heroes, they include Zenyatta, Ana, Juno, and Brigitte.

When the Overwatch 2 community saw the post, some players such as itshinoon noticed the absence of Kiriko. This is because Kiriko is often seen as the poster girl of Overwatch 2 and a frequent recipient of new skins.

Overwatch 2 pop-up shop locations

The poster also had information on the three Overwatch 2 pop-up shop locations. In Japanese, it revealed that the first shop opens at Shibuya MODI on the 7th floor. Players can visit it from July 25 to Aug. 11. As the name suggests, this store is located in Shibuya, Tokyo.

After that, the shop moves to Namba Marui on the 5th floor and opens from Aug. 22 to Sept. 7. Namba Marui is a shopping mall located in Osaka. The final pop-up shop is located at the Hakata Marui shopping center, also on the 5th floor, from Sept. 19 to Oct. 5 in Fukuoka.

As for the Overwatch 2 merchandise, AMNIBUS noted that more details are coming at a later date.

Overwatch 2 merch galore!

This isn't the first time that Japan is hosting limited-time events dedicated to Overwatch 2. Last year, Overwatch 2 collaborated with RED° TOKYO TOWER to launch a line of merchandise featuring Hanzo, Genji, Kiriko, and more. In addition to some exclusive Overwatch 2 merchandise, the collaboration had a themed drink menu and on-site activities.
