Free Overwatch 2 Battle Pass tier skips

According to the official PlayStation Store website, the Overwatch 2 Battle Pass tier skips do not apply to the tiers above 80. Instead, any bonus tier skips past tier 80 are banked for the game's next season.

"Tier skips will not apply to any battle pass level beyond level 80 and will not unlock prestige tiers. Any excess tier skips you purchase past level 80 are banked and will be automatically redeemed at launch of the following season," the website stated.

Whenever a player reaches tier 80, they've technically completed the seasonal Overwatch 2 Battle Pass. Beyond tier 80 are prestige levels that grant unique player titles. These levels go up to 200. The Overwatch Season 8 Battle Pass, for example, features the Behemoth player title.

Other player titles in the current season include Easy Prey, Scavenger, Pack Animal, Tracker, Nocturnal Creature, Aerial Hunter, and Monster Slayer.

Overwatch 2: How to level up your Battle Pass faster

In addition to using tier skips or banked tier skips, another way to level up your seasonal Battle Pass faster is by completing your daily and weekly challenges. Throughout an Overwatch 2 season, there are typically also event challenges that grant bonus Battle Pass XP.

You can be a bit strategic about challenge completion by doing more than one of them at the same time. For example, you can combine the challenge requiring a match win with the one that needs 15 eliminations or assists.

In total, daily challenge Battle Pass XP amounts to 9,000 a day. You also get extra Battle Pass XP thanks to match wins, endurance bonuses, endorsements, and more.
