A treat arrives just before the launch of Overwatch 2 Season 7.

Overwatch 2 players can now enter the game and gain double the Battle Pass XP. This bonus is here ahead of Overwatch 2 Season 7, which launches on Oct. 10.

Overwatch 2 gets double XP weekend

To get double the Overwatch 2 XP, simply enter the game, join some matches, and complete them. This XP is for leveling up the Overwatch 2 Season 6 Battle Pass. Reaching certain tiers rewards players with either free or premium items.

The free version of the Season 6 Battle Pass features items such as the epic Dark Iron Torbjorn skin, Illari Llama Pajamas name card, D.Va All Systems Go voice line, and more. Meanwhile, players with the paid version of the Battle Pass can get skins such as the legendary P-900 Warhead Pharah, legendary Llama Pajamas Illari, and mythic A-7000 Wargod Ana.

Those who have already reached level 80 of the Overwatch 2 Season 6 Battle Pass still have time to aim for the prestige tiers. These offer unique player titles that go with the seasonal theme.

Will Overwatch 2 have a double XP weekend?

The extra Battle Pass XP for the current season is available between Oct. 6 and Oct. 9. A new Battle Pass will activate once the new season arrives on Oct. 10. Before the new season, launch Overwatch 2 and jump into one of the qualifying game modes.
