This is the first time in a while that Mythic Prisms can be earned for free.
Overwatch Anniversary 2025 Week 4 is now live with new challenges and rewards. There are six challenges this week, and completing them results in items such as player icons, sprays, souvenirs, Overwatch 2 Season 18 Battle Pass XP, and even free Mythic Prisms! Here are all of Week 4 Overwatch Anniversary challenges and rewards.
Overwatch Anniversary 2025 gives out free Mythic Prisms
From Oct. 7 to Oct. 14, Overwatch 2 players can duke it out in the regular game modes, Junkenstein's Laboratory, or Overwatch Classic to earn progress toward 20 free Mythic Prisms. Mythic Prisms refer to an in-game currency that unlocks mythic skins and their customizations. This currency is typically either bought or earned through the paid Battle Pass. Both of these options require paying real money. However, this is the first time in a while that Mythic Prisms can be earned for free.
To get the 20 Mythic Prisms, simply complete the Hero For Years challenge. This requires you to finish 30 matches in total. Don't forget that victories mean double the progress. If you enjoy duking it out in the Stadium game mode, then those matches count as double the progress as well. This means you can earn four times the progress through one Stadium win.
Overwatch Anniversary 2025 Week 4 challenges and rewards
In terms of the rest of the Overwatch Anniversary 2025 Week 4 challenges, a couple of them require you to complete matches in the Junkenstein's Laboratory game mode. There's also one that requires completing matches in Overwatch Classic. Meanwhile, to get the free loot box, you must complete 10 matches in a group.
