Overwatch 2 Roadhog nerf explained

According to the Overwatch 2 developers, Roadhog benefited a lot from the recent headshot reduction passive. Therefore, the developers are nerfing the tank's survivability in matches. This adjustment also encourages players to be more mindful of resource management.

"The change to Whole Hog will make the ultimate more of a zoning tool while lowering its lethality, especially against tanks with their recently increased knockback resistance," the notes added.

Overwatch 2 May 24 patch notes: Sigma's ultimate

Meanwhile, Sigma's Gravitic Flux ultimate now requires line-of-sight in order to lift targets. According to the developers, the previous Overwatch 2 patch made some tank ultimates a bit more forgiving.

"Sigma’s Gravitic Flux can suffer from missing due to slight line of sight checks but we don’t believe this change had proper communication for all instances," the notes continued. "We may return to this change for Sigma down the line with updated visuals."

These patch notes are now in the live version of Overwatch 2, affecting the Competitive Play, Quick Play, Arcade, Custom Games modes.
