Overwatch 2 introduces player surveys

Blizzard's Overwatch 2 team is providing players with a dedicated way to make their voices heard. Dedicated Overwatch 2 surveys for new players are going to be the focus.

In terms of how these surveys work, random players are chosen after they complete a match. This occurs after end-of-match phases such as the Play of the Game and the progression scenes. A new splash screen appears if you're selected to complete the optional survey. Simply scan the QR code on your phone or click on the survey link to get started.

"You’ll have your chance to let us know what you think about new modes, events, and features, along with telling us how we can help protect you from disruptive players," Blizzard explained. "We look forward to seeing your participation when we launch this feature in a future update."

Overwatch 2's Defense Matrix initiative also boasts faster reporting and the improved mitigation of disruptive chat. Additionally, updated endorsement ratings are arriving later this year. According to Blizzard, this features an endorsement rating of Level 0. When a player reaches this point, they cannot use voice or text chat.

In terms of other upcoming Overwatch 2 updates, Season 10 features Venture as a hero, a brand-new Battle Pass, competitive matchmaking changes featuring wide groups, harsher leaver penalties, and more. Overwatch 2 Season 10 is arriving on April 16.
