Overwatch 2's new tank hero is none other than Hazard. Ahead of his Dec. 10 release date and the playtest event from Nov. 22 to Nov. 25, Blizzard dropped a trailer with hints of his kit, sparking player speculation about what he can do in the game. Overwatch 2 Hazard abilities

  • A cannon for an arm that fires crystals that can hit multiple enemies at once. This cannon has five barrels.
  • An attack that causes purple crystals to grow on the ground for a knockback effect.
  • Purple crystals that grow out of his back and rain down on his enemies for AoE damage. This might be his ultimate.
  • Hazard also appears capable of jumping and landing, which is a move reminiscent of Doomfist.

The "Hazardous Tactics" trailer shows that Hazard's right arm is a five-barreled cannon. This arm can fire purple crystals that hit multiple enemies at once.

Next, Hazard can make purple crystals appear out of the ground. It also appears that this attack can knock enemies back.

Overwatch 2 new tank hero abilities, passive, and more

  • 25% reduction in received knockbacks
  • 25% reduction in received critical damage
  • 40% reduction in ultimate generation

Since Hazard is a tank hero in Overwatch 2, he has a 25% reduction in received knockbacks. The same applies to received critical damage. Meanwhile, his ultimate generation is reduced by 40%.
