Overwatch 2 grants players free Neon Streets OWCS drops

Players can now get the OWCS Neon Lights player icon and OWCS Neon City name card for free. Here’s how to unlock them and more.

Overwatch 2 players can now unlock a couple of free items in celebration of the inaugural Overwatch Champions Series (OWCS) World Finals event. Read on for our quick guide on how to obtain these free Neon Streets OWCS drops and how you can support the esports competition.

How to unlock free Overwatch 2 Neon Streets OWCS drops

Between Nov. 18 and Nov. 24, Overwatch 2 you can simply log in to the game and collect the free Neon Streets player icon and Neon Streets name card. These are in-game items that can be used to customize your player profile.

To find and equip the Neon Streets icon, select your profile from the main menu. Next, click on the "Customization" tab. From there, select "Owned" from the drop-down menu to quickly find the "Overwatch Esports" section. The OWCS Neon Lights player icon can then be selected and equipped.

How to unlock the Overwatch 2 OWCS name card

In terms of the OWCS Neon City name card, click on the "Name Cards" option located to the left of that same page. Then, select "Owned" from the drop-down menu. Scroll down to the "Overwatch Esports" section to find and equip the item.

Overwatch 2 Neon Streets skins support OWCS World Finals 2024

That's really all there is to it. However, if being decked out in the player icon and name card isn't enough, then you can also get the Neon Streets Crowdfunding Bundle for more customization options plus three Neon Streets skins. According to Blizzard, 25% of the revenue from the item sales in the Neon Streets collection will go to the OWCS World Finals' prize pool.

If you're a fan of only one of these heroes, then you can get their individual bundles as well. Simply head to the in-game shop and scroll down a bit to check them out.

Note that the Overwatch 2 Neon Streets skins are only available in bundles. Therefore, you cannot purchase them individually using Overwatch Coins.
