Overwatch 2 EWC Scores and Schedule

The Esports World Cup Overwatch 2 tournament is well on its way and is wrapping up within the next couple days. With a prize pool over 1,000,000 USD and over 30 matches have been played since the start of the tournament. With that many matches, it's hard to keep track of every score and who's on top. But fret no longer, as we have all the scores for EWC's Overwatch 2 tournament right here.

The Esports World Cup for Overwatch 2 followed a relatively typical format for Overwatch tournaments. However, there was one twist; Hero bans. Each teams bans one hero per map, and teams can only ban a hero once per series. This unique twist surprised the community, but overall had positive reception.

The tournament started with the group stage. The 16 teams fell into four groups in a single round robin format. And at the end of groups, the four lowest scoring teams would be eliminated. While on the other hand, the top scoring teams from groups would receive a first round bye. Then came the playoffs, which was a single elimination first to four bracket.

The best of the best from across the world came to compete at the Esports World Cup for Overwatch 2. In total, at the start of the tournament, there were 16 teams. However, as of July 27th, there are a total of six teams remaining. Fortunately, the cast for the playoffs is diverse across its regions, with a team from almost every region participating, except for South America.
