OWCS Partner Teams receive a portion of the revenue earned by the sale of these new bundles.
The Overwatch Champion Series' (OWCS) Midseason Championship Last Chance Qualifier (LCQ) event recently concluded with Team Falcons securing first place and therefore qualifying for the Midseason Championship. Ahead of this esports tournament, Blizzard Entertainment released some OWCS Partner Team bundles. The new offerings also include the legendary Radiant Angel Mercy skin.
Radiant Angel Mercy skin enters Overwatch 2
As part of an OWCS crowdfunding initiative, the Radiant Angel Mercy skin is now available for purchase via Overwatch 2's in-game shop. While the bundle requires 3,100 Overwatch Coins, it does come with a slew of gorgeous items such as the Radiant Angel Mercy name card, player icon, spray, and weapon charm. There's also the epic So Tough emote where the support hero does a taunt before laughing.
Below are screenshots of every item in this new OWCS crowdfunding bundle. Note that this particular offering is available from July 22 to Aug. 26.
The story behind Radiant Angel Mercy
According to artist Shu Lee, this Radiant Angel Mercy design is special because it builds on TB Choi's original concept of Mercy as a divine protector from a parallel world. When creating this skin, Lee focused on conveying holiness, warmth, and powerful energy through elements like Mercy's glowing halo, and eye covering.
"The blue gemstones embedded throughout her weapon serve as conduits, channeling energy and healing power to her," Lee added.

New OWCS Partner Team bundles and skins
As noted, there are some new OWCS Partner Team bundles within the latest Overwatch 2 shop rotation as well. The featured teams are Crazy Raccoon, T1, Team Falcons, ZETA Division, Gen.G, Twisted Minds, Virtus.Pro, Spacestation Gaming, and Team Liquid.
Each one of these bundles require 2,500 Overwatch Coins and feature team skins for Ramattra, Venture, and Ana as the representing tank, damage, and support heroes. Each bundle includes a team weapon charm, spray, icon, and name card, too.
There are a few mega bundles up for grabs as well. These require 7,500 Overwatch Coins each. And much like Mercy's OWCS offering, all of the team bundles and mega bundles help with crowdfunding.
While the OWCS China bundles are available until Aug. 9, the other team bundles are available through the OWCS World Finals.
