Blizzard has disabled the Antarctic Peninsula and Paraísos maps in Overwatch 2. Read on for details.
Antarctic Peninsula and Paríaso in Overwatch 2
Antarctica Peninsula, which debuted in Overwatch 2 Season 3, has been disabled in the game. Similarly, Paraíso has also been disabled. This is due to performance issues when certain heroes are on those maps.
"We have disabled the Paríaso and Antarctica: [Peninsula] map as we investigate an issue with performance when certain heroes are played," a community manager stated in the Blizzard forums.
The post was made under the "Bug Report" category and included other known issues such as some players not receiving their competitive titles from Overwatch 2 Season 4. The full list of resolved issues can be viewed in the patch notes for June 13.

As players wait for these bug fixes, they can still jump into Overwatch 2's latest season and experience Questwatch plus the Defeat the Demon Lord game mode.
Questwatch refers to a bunch of unlockable chapters in the Overwatch 2 Season 5 Battle Pass. Whenever a player reaches a certain tier, they can read up on the Questwatch narrative. Basically, it's similar to a Dungeons and Dragons campaign featuring heroes such as Tracer, Genji, and Orisa.
Meanwhile, Defeat the Demon Lord is a new Arcade mode. A player can be part of a four-person team or become Demon Lord Reinhardt himself.
