Here’s everything to know about the Overwatch League’s Calling All Heroes Challengers Series.

The Overwatch League has partnered up with third-party organizers to welcome more players through the Challengers Series circuit and the Speaker Series. This is a part of the game's Calling All Heroes initiative, which champions gender inclusivity and supports marginalized gender identities. Overwatch 2 Calling All Heroes Challengers Series schedule

The Overwatch League Calling All Heroes Challengers Series will replace the Challengers Cup. It will also be a year-long competitive circuit with qualifier events. The regular season will take place from April to November 2023.

After the regular season ends, the six teams with the most circuit points will qualify for the Season Championship event in February 2024. There will also be a Last-Chance Qualifier tournament happening in January 2024. The final two spots in the Season Championship will be at stake.

Below is the text version of the Overwatch League Calling All Heroes Challengers Series schedule. More information about the Minor events will be shared throughout the year, according to Blizzard.

Regular Season (April to July 2023)

  • Major #1: April 21 to April 23, hosted by Raidiant
  • Minor #1: May, TBA
  • Major #2: July 7 to July 9, hosted by Raidiant

Regular Season (August to November 2023)

Post-season (January to February 2024)

  • Last-Chance Qualifiers: Jan. 19 to Jan. 21, hosted by Raidiant

How to sign up for the Overwatch Challengers Series

Registration for the Calling All Heroes Challengers Series is open from March 24 to April 18. Interested players can sign up via GameBattles. Every competitor must also be a verified member of the Calling All Heroes Discord server.

As for the format, Calling All Heroes Challengers Series Major 1 will have two stages. The first stage will feature 48 teams and seven rounds of swiss play. The second stage will showcase the top 16 teams plus the single-elimination bracket. Circuit points will be granted to the top 16 Overwatch 2 teams. A prize pool of $10,000 USD will be at stake.

The esports event can be viewed on Raidiant's channels and the Overwatch League one.

All about the Overwatch 2 Calling All Heroes Speaker Series

Don't forget about Overwatch 2's Calling All Heroes Speaker Series! These sessions will be slated for the first Wednesday of every month. The first panel will be about game observation and give participants the chance to learn from the instructors, submit a reel, plus get a review.

Registration for the first session is open from March 24 to April 4. The panel itself will kick off on April 5. As for reel reviews, their submission dates will be from April 6 to April 14.

Attending a Calling All Heroes Speaker Series event will require being a verified member of the Calling All Heroes Discord server.
