Overwatch 2 patch notes: Freja buffs

Freja is the newest damage hero to enter Overwatch 2, and although she arrived last week at the start of Season 16, she now has some buffs to her Quick Dash and Updraft abilities. Quick Dash's cooldown is now 3.5 seconds instead of 4.5 seconds. Meanwhile, Updraft's cooldown is now 10 seconds instead of 12 seconds.

According to the developers, these changes were supposed to arrive in a previous patch. However, they didn't end up going live in the game. Today's Overwatch 2 update fixes this error.

Overwatch 2 patch notes: Stadium Battle Pass XP bug

Today's update also addresses the Overwatch 2 Battle Pass XP bug. Last week, players appeared to only receive 100 Battle Pass XP after completing a match in the Stadium game mode.

Folks on Reddit voiced their frustrations about this as well. For example, one user made a post about how this could discourage folks from entering Stadium. Some players also suspected it was a visual bug, pointing out their level progression didn’t match the displayed rewards.

Thankfully, this is now fixed. Matches completed in Stadium are now granting proper Battle Pass XP.
