Overwatch 2's 6v6 Min 1, Max 3 mode runs from Jan. 21 to Feb. 4. Between these dates, players can access the game mode by selecting "Play" from the main menu, choosing the "Unranked" card, and picking the "Minimum One 6v6" option.

How Overwatch 2 6v6 Min 1, Max 3 works
In terms of how this game mode works, think of it as Open Queue with a couple of rules. Each team must have at least one player in each role. However, this cannot exceed three players per role. For example, in our screenshots above and below, our team has one tank, three damage heroes, and two supports.
Your team can, therefore, even have either a maximum of three tanks or three support heroes. There are lots of possibilities. You can even switch roles in the middle of a match as long as it doesn't break the rules under the Min 1, Max 3 composition. As another example, our screenshot below features two tanks, two damage heroes, and two supports.
As for the gameplay, the objectives are the same as regular Overwatch 2 matches. However, you can work together with your team and create a composition that fits the randomly-assigned map. For example, let's say you're on Ilios Well. Your team can select heroes such as Roadhog and Lucio for some pull and boop shenanigans on or near the control point.
