After duking it out at the Hangzhou Esports Center against the top teams within the 2025 Overwatch Champions Series (OWCS) circuit, Crazy Raccoon players took home the gold and secured themselves a coveted spot in the Midseason Championship. Here are the OWCS Champions Clash results and more!
Crazy Raccoon players win OWCS Champions Clash
Crazy Raccoon players just won the OWCS Champions Clash tournament in Hangzhou, China. The team started off strong in the upper bracket quarterfinals by sweeping Spacestation Gaming 2-0. This earned them a spot in the upper bracket semifinals, but they fell after going 1-3 against NTMR.
Crazy Raccoon didn't give up, however, as they won against Virtus.pro 3-1 before sweeping Once Again 3-0 and winning the revenge match against NTMR 3-0 in the lower bracket final. When the players faced Team Falcons in the grand final, they went 4-2, cementing themselves as the winners of OWCS Champions Clash 2025!

"GGs all," support player Kim "Shu" Jin-seo said on X after Crazy Raccoon's victory. "[It's] painful to lose to [Falcons]. But also feels so good to beat [Falcons]."
For context, Team Falcons defeated Crazy Raccoon in the 2024 OWCS World Finals. Therefore, this OWCS Champions Clash victory is a moment of redemption for Shu and the squad, finally getting their revenge on a team that previously denied them the championship. To top off the sweet victory, Shu was also named the OWCS Champions Clash MVP.
Tank player Choi "MAX" Su-min shared his thoughts on the victory as well. In Japanese, he said that Crazy Raccoon won the championship thanks to all the fans who believed in and supported them. He added that he loves his team with all his heart.
As noted, since Crazy Raccoon won this tournament, the team earned a spot in the OWCS Midseason Championship event. This tournament will be part of Esports World Cup 2025.
