Cassidy’s mythic Blazing Sunsetter weapon skin is arriving in Overwatch 2 with Season 18. Here’s a look at all the upgrade levels.
Overwatch 2 Season 18 is almost there, and we have so many things to show you. If you're a Cassidy main, prepare your wallet because our outlaw is getting a mythic weapon skin this season. Take a look at the mythic Blazing Sunsetter weapon skin coming soon!
Mythic Blazing Sunsetter weapon skin
Red, yellow, and orange, just like our favorite sunsets. Cassidy's new mythic skin, Blazing Sunsetter, is coming to the Overwatch 2 store on Season 18, arriving on Aug. 26.
"The next evolution in Overwatch 2 cosmetics, the Blazing Sunsetter, introduces a volatile revolver that grows molten throughout your gameplay. With brand-new overheat visuals that respond in real time to your fire, this weapon is more than just stylish; it’s literally heating up in your hands," Overwatch 2 developers wrote in the Season 18 report.
Here are all the levels for the Cassidy weapon skin:
- Level 1: Unlocks Blazing Sunsetter with a high-tech tactical model designed for high noon standoffs.
- Level 2: Activates dynamic reactivity. The weapon will overheat with your fire gameplay, ejecting pieces of the casing to reveal its molten core.
- Level 3: Provides the weapon's custom flourish animation, giving Cassidy a whole new way to flaunt his style between fights.
- Level 4: Brings the flex: a deadly kill effect that turns every final blow into a showstopper.
To purchase the skin, simply open your MythicShop and buy it with Mythic Prisms. You will need to wait for the update to be released before making your purchase. In addition to Cassidy, players can also obtain Sojourn’s Mythic Ultraviolet Sentinel hero skin.
