Blizzard has revealed the gameplay trailer for the next Overwatch 2 hero! Niran Pruksamanee, also known as Lifeweaver, will enter the fray in Overwatch 2 Season 4. Read on for details about his abilities and ultimate alongside when he will debut in the game.
Overwatch 2 Lifeweaver abilities
Lifeweaver’s first primary fire is Healing Blossom. With it, he charges the flower before tossing it at a teammate to heal them. The more charge, the more healing. His other primary fire is Thorn Volley, which scatters biolight thorns at his foes.
Next, Lifeweaver can use Petal Platform to lift a player up from the battlefield. When the pod he tosses lands, it becomes a flower and elevates either a teammate or an enemy into the air.
"Anyone using the platform can launch themselves high into the air by timing a jump right as the platform reaches maximum height," Blizzard explained.
Using Rejuvenating Dash, Lifeweaver can lunge in the direction he's travelling and heal himself a bit.
The new support hero can also pull a teammate towards him with Life Grip. In the trailer, he saves Symmetra from a fall. A teammate within Life Grip is invulnerable to damage.
Lifeweaver's ultimate is Tree of Life. It has him shout "Life unbridled!" as he places down a tree to heal teammates. The tree provides cover for his allies as well, meaning players can't be shot, shoot, or pass through it.
As for his Parting Gift passive, he drops a flower upon death. It heals the first player who picks it up.
