Domina is the newest tank hero to enter Overwatch, and duking it out against her can be difficult at first. Here are some Domina counters in Overwatch. We also show you Domina's abilities and perks to give you a better idea of how she works and her weaknesses.
Overwatch Domina counters
Reaper. Play as Reaper to counter Domina in Overwatch. He can melt her with his close-range damage. He can also flank and pressure the backline, distracting players and even Domina herself.
Since Reaper also has great self-sustain thanks to his passive and Soul Reaving perk, aggressive gameplay is rewarded. He can use Wraith Form for invulnerability to either get out or into fray as well. The same goes for his Shadow Step ability.
While duking it out against Domina, make sure to have a look at your surroundings, too. Don't go near walls or enclosed spaces against her. This is because her Sonic Repulsors ability pushes you back and can stun you if you hit a wall.
How to counter Domina's shield
Another viable Domina counter in Overwatch is Venture as their drill can disrupt positioning. You can even play as Sombra, Winston, and Moira to get around the shield and annoy the backline. Mei is also viable since her Ice Wall can isolate Domina from her teammates and vice-versa.
It's also possible to fight Domina as Domina yourself. Doing this helps you understand her kit better and anticipate her abilities. For example, Domina's shield has a long cooldown of 14 seconds. Paying attention to this and the cooldowns of other heroes can turn the tide of a match.
