Week 2 featured broadcast
Manhattan College vs. Marist College (Rocket League) Oct. 17, 7 p.m. EST
Two semifinalists from last year's playoffs will meet up for the first time this year on the platforms of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. Manhattan College (1-0) will go against Marist College (0-0) in what could be a previewed playoff matchup later down the road.
In last week's matchup against Niagara, Pineapple, Manhattan's returning player, secured six points for the team in the first round. Meanwhile, Sansmahman secured a series by getting seven points for Manhattan to give them their first win of the season. Other returning players such as Cross and Kevo360 also secured points in their 19-10 win over Niagara. Keep an eye out for this Manhattan squad as a majority of the roster returned from their successful roster last year.
This will also be Marist's first match of the year after pushing their week one matchup against Mount St. Mary's to the makeup week. This will be a crucial match to start the season after both schools getting solid campaigns throughout all of 2022. With a 11-7 season last year, Marist would want to replicate that. A head start to a potential second winning season can begin with a win over Manhattan.
