And so, with a heavy spoiler warning, lets dive into the ending of episode six; The Price of Salvation.

A recap of episode six - The Price of Salvation

Episode six is the grand finale of Dragon Age: Absolution. With the aftermath of the crew breaking back into Nessum to rescue Hira, there's quite a bit of chaos happening on the palace ground. Mainly the fact that Rezaren is pretty furious. He, alongside the Dragon that's been rampaging the palace that he now controls with blood magic are on their way to reclaim Miriam and the Circulum. On top of that Hira betrays the crew, with the goal of allying with the Crimson Knight and the Templars to burn Tevinter to the ground.

After a crazy fight with the Dragon and Rezaren defeated, it seemed like our heroes won and Dragon Age: Absolution is ready to conclude. However, not all loose ends were tied up. Well, mainly one loose end that is going to lead into potentially season two, which is Hira. After Rezaren is defeated, Miriam gives the choice to Hira whether to be with her or to take the Circulum, and he doesn't choose love. She takes the Circulum and heads to the Templars.

And so, the loose end of Hira's escape with the Circulum is the big cliffhanger of the finale. As Miriam explains, she needs to destroy the cursed object before it gets to the Templars. Because powering such a strong artifact will need too large of a sacrifice to justify. So, the crew start their chase for Hira, who is on her way to the Templars.

On the other hand however, we get a glimpse into the upcoming enemy of potentially Season 2 of Dragon Age: Absolution. This big bad encased in red Lyrium is Knight Commander Meredith, who was believed to be dead. She was the head of the Templars in Kirkwall and known for her Blood Magic and oppressive Templars. And at the end of Dragon Age II, she drew too much power from the red Lyrium and became as we see her in Dragon Age: Absolution, encased in the Lyrium.

And so, we see the Commander issue an Order to protect Hira and make sure she gets to the Templars without issue. Which is where we end the first season of Dragon Age: Absolution. With the the crew of Qwydion, Roland Miriam and Lacklon on Hira's trail to the Templars. All while Commander Meredith prepares for war.

Although there is no official announcement of Dragon Age Absolution Season 2. However, with the current plot threads leading up to a potential next season, there is a high chance. Regardless, the story of season one should hopefully be enough to satisfy the Dragon Age fans at least for now. You can stream Dragon Age: Absolution now on Netflix here.
