The T-1000 and Madam Bo are Mortal Kombat 1’s newest characters!
Mortal Kombat 1's next round of downloadable content (DLC) is just a few weeks away from release. Following Conan The Barbarian's debut, the final character remaining in Kombat Pack 2 is the T-1000. However, to the fans' surprise, NetherRealm Studios (NRS) added the Mortal Kombat 1 character, Madam Bo, to the release schedule.
Here is everything you need to know about the final two characters set to join Mortal Kombat 1 until further notice.
T-1000 and Madam Bo Mortal Kombat 1 release date
The T-1000 and Madam Bo will debut in Mortal Kombat 1 on March 18 for early access as part of Kombat Pack 2. Unfortunately, those who don't own the Khaos Reigns DLC will have to wait until March 25 to purchase and use the characters separately.
Who are the T-1000 and Madam Bo in Mortal Kombat 1?
Some newer-age Mortal Kombat players might not be familiar with the T-1000 since he is famous for his presence in the 1991 film Terminator 2: Judgement Day. Opposite Arnold Schwarzenegger's T-800 and played by Robert Patrick, the T-1000 is the film's antagonistic liquid metal Terminator.
Comprised of memetic polyalloy, the T-1000 can shapeshift into any person and most objects it touches. It is the superior model to the T-800, making it one of Skynet's deadliest creations. From a gameplay perspective, a teaser trailer showcased what this character offers.
He can form into a liquid metal blob, similar to Glacius from Killer Instinct, and even create a pair of hookwords like Kabal. Lastly, his first Fatality directly references the truck chase in Terminator 2.
The second character set for release on March 18 is Madam Bo. She appears in the game's story mode as the New Era version of Bo' Rai Cho. Madam Bo owns the Fengjian Tea House, an arena in Mortal Kombat 1. She fights Smoke briefly in the story mode, making her a perfect Kameo candidate.

How much will the characters cost?
The Khaos Reigns DLC is available individually for $49.99. You can also purchase a Bundle, which includes Kombat Pack 1 and 2, or the Kollection, which consists of the entire Mortal Kombat 1 game and all DLC. Most platforms offer Khaos Reigns at a discount, so you may want to keep an eye on that.
If none of those options appeal to you, the T-1000 and Madam Bo will likely cost you $7.99 and $4.99, respectively. These prices reflect the cost of the previous Khaos Reigns and Kombat Pack 1 Kameos.
While we don't know what lies beyond Kombat Pack 2, we should know over the next few months.
