Mortal Kombat 1 patch arrives ahead of CEO 2024

Notably, these Mortal Kombat 1 patch notes also arrived just ahead of CEO 2024. The fighting games tournament kicks off soon on June 28. Prior to the release of this patch, Alex Jebailey, the founder and CEO of the event, predicted the nerfs to Johnny Cage and Peacemaker. He shared his thoughts about it on social media.

"This might get me in trouble but at this point just frustrated I do so much to promote the games I love & host them for the community only to get hit with last min surprises," Jebailey wrote. "It's probably gonna be nerfs to certain characters that rhyme with Rage & HeartBreaker. Just a hunch."
