The new trailer begins with Homelander drinking a bottle of milk, referencing his obsession with it in his original franchise — The Boys. Homelander then enters a fight against Liu Kang.

While Liu Kang warns Homelander about choosing war with a god, the latter denies it. Homelander says, "No, you have." Once again, this goes well with his portrayal in The Boys.

Homelander demonstrates a move where he shoots lasers from his eyes and rises up from the ground. The trailer then gets bloody as Homelander unleashes his first fatality. This involves shooting lasers right at his opponent's own eyes before making their head explode.

As for Homelander's other fatality, he showcases his strength as a Supe by punching his opponent up to the sky. This punch sends his opponent towards a plane before the plane flies into them. This fatality is a reference to an episode in The Boys where Homelander left passengers on a plane to their demise.

NetherRealm Studios, the developer behind the game, has only revealed that Homelander will launch in the spring of 2024. Meanwhile, the new trailer's description notes that "The Boys Season 4 premieres June 13," which may be a hint at Homelander's release date.
