Warcraft Rumble Season 6 PvP changes

In Season 6, Warcraft Rumble's matchmaking system will become more accurate. To do this, the Warcraft Rumble team will pay close attention to Leader Honor. According to an official post, the goal will be to make Leader Honor represent a player's army level and skill. Therefore, the number of placement matches will increase.

"In these matches, you’ll go against opponents of equal level to determine your initial Leader Honor, and they must be played for each new Leader used in PvP," the post stated. "Our hope is that this allows you to reach an accurate Leader Honor more quickly, while reducing the number of unfavorable matches in the process."

Warcraft Rumble to remove PvP level caps

Warcraft Rumble will also remove the level caps for PvP at or below Leader Honor 3,000. "This may result in some matches having a more prominent army level discrepancy than before due to players moving up to their correct Leader Honor as opposed to being solely based on army level," Blizzard explained.

The goal will be to achieve a more accurate and less restrictive distribution of Leader Honor, leading to fairer PvP matches.
